Our charity-run brass band welcomes young beginners who want to learn, play, and have fun—no experience needed, and completely free. We believe every child deserves the chance to discover music, no matter their background. In our friendly and supportive environment, kids will learn to play brass instruments, grow in confidence, and make lasting friendships along the way.

Established June 2012
A welcoming introduction to playing brass instruments. With free instruments and tutor books provided, this 15–18 month program builds strong musical foundations and prepares players for entry into the Training Band.
Established February 2017
For musicians at approximately Grade 1 level or those ready for their next challenge after the Starter Band. Players begin working with harmony parts and deepen their musical understanding, preparing them for smooth progression into the Junior Band.
Established January 2011
For young musicians working at approximately Grade 3 standard, this band offers the chance to develop ensemble playing and performance skills, providing solid preparation for progression into the Youth Band.
Established 2008
For players working at around Grade 5 level, this full youth brass band offers inspiring performance opportunities and the chance to develop advanced ensemble skills in a supportive, high-energy setting.
